On Saturday, October 25, 2008 members of the Memorial Miles team ran in the Norwood, NJ 5K. Both Tom Grassi and Paul Pietropaolo were able to show the shirt! They had been predicting heavy rains for today, but it managed to hold off until after the race. Tom and Paul kept a pace around 8'-30" per mile! Tom crossed the finish line seconds ahead of Paul, and both runners were very satisfied with their effort that day!

On my drive to the race, I was on Strawtown Road in West Nyack, NY and I saw this 9/11 Memorial to the PAPD, NYPD and FDNY, just a reminder as to why we run!
